Remember the rummage sale at First United on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.? Among the rare finds that will be at this sale are handmade dolls from all over the world. These dolls were donated by Rebecca Irwin. Rebecca’s mother enrolled her in the “Doll of the Month” club many years ago. The dolls are handmade and very primitive – probably made by children from poor countries years ago.
There are also several other items that look they could be on PBS’s Antiques Roadshow. Assisting Gloria Backman in organizing the sale are Gigi Alfano and Jim Baladimas.
