Allied Waste, Forest Park’s recycling hauler has released a “Naughty and Nice list” for holiday season wrapping paper and other materials.
“Wrapping paper has been on the naughty list in the past,” said Kurt Blascoe of Allied Waste. Lamination, glitter, gold and silver additives and plastics have been difficult to recycle in the past, he said. “We are moving it to the ‘Nice’ list this year, as we have paper mill customers who can make new paper products from it.”
