The village council, Monday night, approved an agreement with the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office to import computer-stored vehicle registration data files. The village will compare village and state residency records to catch residents who do not buy vehicle stickers.
Stickers go on sale at the end of February and must be purchased and displayed by April 1, 2012 or cars can be ticketed.
