This may sound like a cliche, and it is, but in this case it is true. Rory Hoskins is a consciences man. He is a dedicated public servant, a diligent and loving father and a true and affectionate husband. These attributes alone make him the kind of person I want to know but it is the combination of the quality of his personality and the political skill and focus of that skill to serve the people of the 7th District that make him irresistible. Rory Hoskins is a man who conducts himself with class and integrity. He is unflappable with a keen and sharp focus on the business of the people. He is thorough and professional. Mr. Hoskins understands the peoplesf needs and will fight the hard fight to prevail in efforts to serve our greater interests.
I am fortunate to enjoy the representation of Mr. Hoskins in the Village of Forest Park where Mr. Hoskins currently serves as a commissioner. I have raised concerns and sought assistance from the council. Rory Hoskins took time to discuss my concerns and I got resolution. I was not offered platitudes or in any way treated in a unprofessional manner. Mr. Hoskins is a true public servant in every way and he can a will serve our district in the best possible way.@
Mr. Hoskins faces a stiff opponent in Chris Welch. Welch has a greater public image and a political infrastructure that any candidate would envy. That does not make him the best choice.
