Xavier J. Piekarz, 89, of Downers Grove, died April 3. He was the husband of Alexandra “Alice” Piekarz (nee Korabik), brother of Joseph (Helen) Mall and the late Bernice (Harry) Opila. He was father of Christine (James) Chaloupka, Edward (Carol) Piekarz, Therese (Harv) Potts and Lawrence (Mary) Piekarz. He was grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 8.
