John Gibas, age 56, of Forest Park, died April 11. He was the husband of Kristine, father of Jessica, Jonathan, Nathan and Melissa, brother of Jim (Donna) and Lynn (Jay) and former husband of Marlene. John was a retired rigger and machinery mover for over 30 years. Often seen near his garage chatting with neighbors, playing with his dogs and feeding the squirrels, John was a great handyman and there was little he couldn’t do. He was well liked and respected, and will be missed by all who knew him. Services have been held.
