The Cook County State’s Attorney set bond for arrested Forest Parker Gregory Hych, 33, at $1 million today at the Maybrook courthouse. The woman arrested with him, Kenesha Sheridan, 21, of Chicago, was held on $300,000 bond.

The two were charged Tuesday night with attempted murder, aggravated battery with a firearm and obstructing justice. Hych allegedly shot a Bellwood man in the neck at the corner of Desplaines Avenue and Roosevelt Road, Saturday afternoon, after the two argued over the return of a lost cellphone. Hych and Sheridan fled the 7-Eleven on foot. They were arrested Sunday around 6:30 p.m.

Hych had five prior arrests for obstruction of justice, drugs and assault, and had two convictions. Sheridan had one prior arrest for driving with license suspended.
