Two Rookie teams, the Yankees and Rangers played at the Park on Saturday June 9th. It was an exciting close game, with the Yankees leading 15-12 after three innings. The big hitters for the Yankees were Henry Wagner, who scored four runs and Nathan Canada, Kelvin Grzelak and Kyle Barron each scoring three times. The Rangers tightened up their defense, with Harrison Covarrubias making a nice play in center field and Connor Hoehne pitching well. Finally, the Rangers came back and won 23-17. They were led by Curtis Horras, Sam Bland and Ta’Jonn Johnson, who each scored four runs.
