On behalf of the Board of Park Commissioners of the Park District of Forest Park, I would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank the following businesses that made financial contributions, donated gift certificates or provided in-kind donations for our Inaugural Forest Park Kids Triathlon: Competitive Foot, Dan’s Bike Shop, Ed’s Way, Hulafrog, Live Healthy Forest Park, and Louie’s Grill. We also thank the Forest Park Police and Fire Departments for spending the morning at the Park to ensure the safety of our patrons.
As always, we extend a big thank you to our volunteers: Sam Alonzo, Joe Byrnes, Karen Bukowski, Liz Clearly, Jenise Calhoun, Therese, Becca and Melissa Cormack, Priscila Garibay, Debbie Ginger, Antoine Lafortune, Ashley Magee, Laura Puente, John Rice, and Will Walsh. Their help ensured our race participants enjoyed a safe and fun-filled event.
Lastly, we would like to thank all of our participants and their supporters for coming out on race day. Over 40 kids took part in this swim-bike-run race and it was great to see their family and friends out cheering them on!
