Mae M. Baldridge, 93, of Wheaton, formerly of Forest Park, died October 1. She was the wife of the late Ralph, mother of Randy (Georgia), Dick (Carol), Linda (Pat) Gardner, Pat (Kathy), and Bonnie. Mae lived in Forest Park for 41 years and is fondly remembered as a champion of health in Forest Park.
She worked with the Board of Health for 19 years. She assisted the Red Cross with swine flu and polio vaccinations, assisted in the Proviso Township Rubella Program, helped with Meals on wheels and assisted the Lions Club with the Glaucoma nurse program. She was also a Girl Scout leader. She is remembered by many former school children as the school nurse at St. Bernardine’s, St. John and the Forest Park Public Schools. Services were held at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, Wheaton.
