Laurie Jackson, 67, of Forest Park, formerly of Oak Park, die the morning of October 14, 2012 after a long battle with lung cancer.
She was the mother of Andrew (Karen) Palomo and Tina (Rey) Rocha Martinez, sister of Dee Robins and the late Charles Jackson. She was a devoted grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and cousin. Laurie was a friend to the community and a dedicated employee at Dominick’s in Oak Park for the last 15 years. She loved to dance, visit the library, walk for exercise, watch movies and enjoy life. Laurie was very generous with her heart and time. Her life was an endless pursuit to help others. She will be remembered by all she has touched.
