Hi Everyone! In my job as director of the library, I have the pleasure of dealing with many fine organizations that have the interests of our children at heart. One of those is the local Kiwanis Club, of which I have the pleasure to be a member. Kiwanis is more than just an organization with an “interesting” sounding name. It’s an international service organization which is dedicated to.. “changing the world one child and community at a time.” Sounds pretty fancy and ambitious, doesn’t it? But I can tell you from personal experience that our local club is carrying out the Kiwanis mission on a day to day basis right here in Forest Park.
