My name is Tiffany Ellis and I am the owner and founder of Mama Concierge.

I have always loved to help others with their children. Before motherhood, I enjoyed spending time with my nieces, nephews, cousins, and the children of my friends. When I had my first child, my husband and I were very blessed to have this same support. Sometimes we had people to call for babysitting, to help clean, to help play with the baby while I did homework, to cook for us, to help run errands etc. I realize that not everyone has such wonderful help, and if they do…..sometimes, its still not enough! I meet many parents that can do it all but love the option of extra help with things big and small even if for 2-3 hours a day. Children are great but it really does take a village. Now with two children, we are still very grateful to have such support. We are happy and involved parents – and even better when we get an OCCASIONAL BREAK 🙂 This benefit and support I now offer to others!

All of this inspired me to launch “Mama Concierge” …..a personal service for the everyday family! It is truly an affordable luxury. Services range from $10-$30 an hour. Some of the services I offer include hourly childcare, grocery/personal shopping, school transportation, local errands, light housework, post delivery care, home organization, stress management, photo book creation, and more. I have joined many organizations, met amazing local people, and created great bonds with my clients.

Background: I have a bachelor’s degree in business, a master’s degree in public service and 10+ years of childcare experience!

Previous Career: A corporate finance manager but now ready to run my own business!

I am definitely a risk-taker. I thought of this idea 2 years ago and this past September decided to be an entrepreneur! My husband and I prayed about it long and hard. We decided I would leave my full time finance manager job at Pepsi and go for it. So far I am using my own resources to run this business – mainly money from our savings. We have no business loans, grants, or funding. The focus of my business is to enhance family quality time by keeping the caregiver relaxed and more available to their family. My vision for Mama Concierge is to one day be national and able to give service hours free to low or no income families. I would love to give those that need help the value of personal service whenever they want it. What I do now gives me flexibility and more time with my own family.

I will be wrapping gifts for only $5-$10 flat (not per gift). I will provide gift-wrap, ribbon, bows, labels, etc. up to 15 gifts. While the client waits or returns later, all will be wrapped and waiting for that special someone.
