Last time I gave you all a few words about one of the guiding priniciples Kiwanis lives by as it seeks to help the young people of the world. Here’s another: “To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive and serviceable citizenship.” How does Kiwanis do this right here in Forest Park? By supporting scouts, youth sports, programs in our schools, and a host of other positive activities! The results aren’t always immediately apparent, but when you plant good seeds, and carefully water and tend the plant, the long range result is well worth the effort.
