Maybe you noticed the article in the Forest Park Review about a kite flying event put on by the good people at the Parks District last Saturday. All reports are it was a fun event, with nice windy conditions to keep those kites flying. Kiwanis was proud to pitch in a few dollars, and send a member to help make it happen. First credit, though, goes to the good people at the Parks District and all those who showed up to show their airborne skills. We’re just glad at Kiwanis that organizations serving children know that they can come to us for help with the great work they’re doing.
