Floyd Jorgensen, 75, a 31-year resident of Forest Park, died on April 18, 2013 at Rush Oak Park Hospital. Born in Chicago on April 17, 1938, he was a 1956 graduate of Oak Park and River Forest High School, served with the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1963. He was the longtime owner of a carpentry business and a longtime member of the West Town Chorus and the SASS Shooters Club.

Floyd Jorgensen is survived by Marie Jorgensen, his wife of 31 years.

Visitation was held on April 22 and funeral services on April 23 at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home in Oak Park, followed by interment with honors at Forest Home Cemetery.
