Retired staff and teachers from Forest Park School District 91 returned to the hallways of Garfield School on Friday for the First Annual Annual Retiree Reading Day. Earlier in the morning Friday, beloved 40-year custodian Bob Crane was honored by the school on his retirement from the district.
“We had enough District 91 retirees volunteer to read at Garfield that every classroom had their own reader,” said Garfield’s Rose Bottorff. “Everyone enjoyed their special visitor.
