From local Hall of Fame greats such as Mike Tallo and Bob Campbell to Park District of Forest Park Commisioner John Doss, softball has a long history in this town.
In 1969, amidst a number of revolutions, was the start of yet another new beginning. Forest Park’s First “All Star” 16-inch softball tournament, later known as the No Glove Nationals Tournament. This year marks the 45th year of the Tournament and local No Gloves players are saying they are ‘In it to win it’.
