Ruth Krueger, age 91, passed away peacefully July 24, 2013 at Forest View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Itasca. Mrs. Krueger was born and raised in Forest Park, where she spent the vast majority of her life.
She was a member of the Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge, and the VFW. She was a parishioner at St. Bernardine Catholic Church, and was married at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Forest Park.
Ruth Krueger is survived by her children Elizabeth Koeller, Johanna Falbo, Loretta Bendix and Kenneth Komperda. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Ringbauer and Erwin Krueger. Funeral services and burial were held Friday July 26th at Woodlawn Funeral Home and Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park. Memorials may be made to Alexian Brothers Hospice.
