On behalf of the Kiwanis Club of Forest Park, I would like to thank everyone who supported our 5th Annual Ed O’Shea Dinner that was held on Friday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. A very special thanks to Executive Director Larry Piekarz and his staff for putting together a wonderful venue for the 70+ guests that attended. Thank you to Maureen Booth and Nadeau’s Ice Sculptures for a remarkable piece of art that proclaimed our club’s 90th Anniversary in Forest Park. Thanks to Carriage Flowers for the roses and baby’s breath used as center pieces on the tables, Burke Beverage for the half barrel of beer w/draft equipment that was enjoyed by many, Capri Ristorante for their outstanding food and DJ RyGuy for serving as MC and fantastic audio support. Thanks to the Forest Park Public Library for the projector which was used for presenting the Kiwanis Eliminate Project and to Lt. Governor Concetta Peconio (Bensenville) & Past Lt. Governors Oronzo Peconio (Bensenville) and William Piper (River Forest) for participating in the program. Thank you to the Honoree, Scott Entler, the O’Shea family, past recipients of the award Andy Collis (Virginia), Laureen Thornton, Denny Moran (Cathy) and Joe Byrnes (Sandy) for attending. Lastly, thanks to our Youth Service Board Members, Nic Novak (Little League), Jill Wagner (Scouts) & Matt Walsh (Soccer) for their leadership and participation with the Kiwanis Club of Forest Park.
