Bernard C. Woods, age 85, of Culver, Ind., formerly of Forest Park. He was a former member of the Carpenters Local 242 and Laborers Local 4. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth J. (nee Clark). He was father of Bernard C. (Cathy), Margaret (Garrett) Curran, James P. (Karol), Karen A. (Joseph) Collins, John F. (Karen), Michael E. (Terri), and Bridget M. (Robert) Dowdle and proud grandfather and great-grandfather of many. He was brother of Edward (Kathleen) Woods. Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Bernardine Catholic Church, Forest Park with interment following at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Hillside. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements by Gibbons Funeral Home, Elmhurst.
