I am a senior citizen who lives in Forest Park.
Recently I have been receiving a number of disturbing phone calls. All of them ask me to set up the delivery of “my free medical alert device.” Most of these calls are computer-generated, but a couple of calls were with a person who yelled at me and refused to answer any of my questions.
I didn’t agree to the delivery. Then I checked on-line and found a number of warnings about free medical alert device scams.
Senior citizens should be wary of calls like the one I received.
