Robert E. Greenway, 83, formerly of Forest Park, died Feb 26. He was born in Chicago to the late Helen and Erwin Greenway and had been a long time resident of Forest Park. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He graduated from St Peter Canisius, Fenwick High School, and DePaul University with a degree in accounting and worked at Glidden, Sunbeam and Binks. After retirement he obtained a CPA, a long sought after goal. He was a dedicated White Sox and DePaul Blue Demons fan.
He was a dear cousin of Penny (John) Koclanis, Harry Breinig, the late John Breinig, Margaret Senne, Brent (Dawn) Wagner, Amy Wagner, Jeremy (Jordan) Wagner, Nicole and Brandon Wagner, Brian Zorger, Michelle McClintock and a fond and loyal friend to many. Mass of Resurrection will take place at Holy Family Church, 2515 W. Palatine Rd, Inverness, Illinois on March 8, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment private. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
