Music therapists, Angie Gluekrt and Katie Bender entertained some friends at an old fashioned tea recently. While the girls played violin duets, friends recited poetry — all the while wearing Scarlet O’Hara hats, both men and women .Two friendly cats provided entertainment as well.
Congratulations to fifth grader, Henry Nathan Wagner who is the 2013-2014 Field-Stevenson SCOTY (School Citizen of the Year) award winner. This is the highest honor Field-Stevenson bestows on a student. Henry has been a student in the Forest Park Schools since kindergarten. He is conscientious and is a valued member of Field-Stevenson’s National Elementary Honor Society. Henry is also involved in community service projects ,is involved in the Cub Scouts, plays the flute, piano and can always be counted on to help out when needed. Forest Park is proud of Henry Wagner and wish him continued success as he starts the new adventure of Middle School! Go Henry!
Get ready for the Easter Eggstravaganza at the Community Center, Saturday, April 12 10:30 am until 12:30, p.m. The price is $6 child, $4 adult.
