Thomas Braniff M.D., formerly of Forest Park, died peacefully on March 9 in his Westchester home, he was 65.
Thomas was born in Joplin Mo. in 1948 to Larry and Elizabeth Braniff. Braniff had a wonderful young life as a teen skeet shooting champion. Between 1964 and 1966 Braniff had won over 20 shooting events in the junior division in multiple states. He collected a number of patches which included 200, 300 and 500 hit shots in a row.
Braniff then went to medical school in Mexico where he earned his Medical Degree and married his wife Maria. Braniff then moved to Forest Park where he did his internship at Hines V.A. Hospital and put his two sons through St Bernardine’s school.
He is survived by Thomas Jr. (Sara) and David (Jackie) and grandchildren Nathan, Jenna, Ryan, Charlie.
