Lorraine A. Crowley nee Schwader, 95, a lifelong resident of Forest Park, died May 10. Lorraine graduated from Proviso High School in 1937. She was an active former member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid gardener and a longtime volunteer at Hines VA Hospital. She was also a longtime very active member of St. John Lutheran Church in Forest Park.
Lorraine was wife of the late James L., mother of Janeen (Michael) Dunst, Jocelyn (Brian) Rada and the late baby Jon. She was grandmother of Brian Dunst and Melanie Steinbrenner and great-grandmother of Griffin, Phoenix and Dexter. Visitation will take place between 4-8 p.m. Thursday, May 15, at Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home 7319 Madison St., Forest Park. Service takes place at 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church 305 Circle Ave., Forest Park. Interment will be at Forest Home Cemetery.
