“Take a book, return a book.” That’s the slogan of the Little Free Library movement, now five years old.
But Forest Parker Warren Ault has built the first mini-public repository in Forest Park, in front of 133 Elgin Ave.
The red mini-vault, created from a repurposed cabinet, is also electrified. Solar-powered LED lights adorn the library.
Between 20 and 50 books can fit inside. On Monday, titles ranged from diet books to novels by Joyce Carol Oates.
