A rollover crash with a fatality closed Harlem Avenue this morning between 2:45 and 6:30 a.m.

One person was killed and another injured in a rollover crash around 2:45 a.m., Wednesday morning that closed Harlem Avenue until after 6:30 a.m.

The northbound grey sedan appeared to have jumped the curb in the VFW parking lot at 15th Avenue in Berwyn. The car struck several metal and cement parking barriers, as well as a light pole and a fire hydrant and flipped over in the intersection.

Police said the driver was pronounced dead, but a passenger was able to escape from the car.
