Ghoulish go-carts sped down Beloit Avenue Oct. 25 at the third annual Forest Park Casket Races.

Twenty-two teams competed for the fastest, funniest and creepiest entries. Winners were:

1^st place: 17:31 seconds. Park District of Forest Park Ninja Turtles. Team was Ryan Russ, Robert Kendall, George Hickey, Chris Chin and Mary Rehor.

2^nd place: 18:25 seconds.  Dr. Jerry Udelson Children’s Dentistry “Counts.” Teammates were Dan Savas, Dr. Jerry, Nick and Michael Moskos, and Dan Jisa

 3^rd place: 19:53 seconds. Exit Strategy Brewing Company with team Chris and Katherine Valleau,  Zach Janush, Jacob Kell and Matt Hopper.

Shock Theater of Elmhurst won “creepiest’ award for the third year in a row. Members were Adam, John and Zach Hauger, Jason Marshall and Scott Hall.

Newcomers in the “funniest” category were zombie librarians from Forest Park Public Library. Team members were Alicia Hammond, Maggie Wiggins Donna Marrocco and Desiree Johnson.
