A life-long Oak Parker, Karen Baldwin is passionate about the Oak Park area. So passionate, in fact, that she, her mother and her siblings all live within a block of where they grew up. Karen, now in her third Oak Park home, fully understands the challenges of moving. While it can be very emotional and stressful, it is also a time full of hope and excitement. There’s nothing quite like finally finding the right fit and calling it your own. “I completely empathize with the experience,” she says, “whether helping you buy a new place or sell a cherished home, my job is to make each move easier and positive.”
With a Communications background and past experience as a highly regarded editor for over 25 years, Karen brings great attention to detail, adherence to deadlines and the juggling skills to get work accomplished in a timely manner. She is especially good at seeing “beyond” the decorating and finding the potential in a space. Since Karen has personally experienced renovation, she can help future homeowners envision the rich possibilities that remodeling can bring. “I am excited,” she says, “to finally be doing something professionally that I have done for my friends for quite some time.”
Karen has volunteered over the years on various Village of Oak Park committees, preschool board, and grade school committees. She continues to be involved with the OPRF High School Alumni Association and Huskie Booster Club. She knows Oak Park inside and out, and cannot wait to share her love for the area, as well as the surrounding suburbs with you. “I look forward to being a partner,” she says, “and working with people to help them realize the dream of living in this wonderful neighborhood.”
