Color Me Beautiful, 7507 Madison St., will offer free makeover classes for the visual impaired, senior citizens, and military veterans starting Dec. 1. The sessions are two hours per week for 3 weeks. New classes begin the first Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of each month.
First classes will begin:
- Visual Impaired classes are December 1st, 8th, and 15th. 1pm. – 3pm.Mondays
- Military Veterans classes are December 2nd, 9th, and 16th.5pm- 7pm.Tuesdays
- Senior Citizens classes are December 3rd, 10th, and 17th. 12 noon – 2pm.Wednesdays
The visual impaired must be unemployed and between age from 21 to 55. In order to participate in our senior citizens classes, individuals must be over the age of 60. There are no criteria for military veteran. Military ID requested or proof of service. These classes will prepare the individuals with the basic skills for applying makeup for job readiness.
These classes are held at Forest Park’s Color Me Beautiful only.
