I met Dan Bjornson and his daughter Kristen coming to get some health tips. Janet Paulin and Angela Hicks are getting acquainted as Angela prepares to get some information about what’s available. You’re covered from the tip of your head to the soles of your feet and everything in between at this annual event. You can even get advice on caring for your dog and cat. Thank you to the staff . The Michael Teolis Singers will perform at the First United Methodist Church Saturday, Dec. 6, 7 p.m. The Symphony of Oak Park and River Forest concert is Sunday afternoon, 4 p.m. at Dominican University, Lund Hall. Schumann’s Rheinish Symphony, Mozart Piano Concerto #24 and Sibelius Symphony #7 make up the program.

Jackie is a former Chicago and Elmwood Park schoolteacher with an undying love for music, friendly pets and a host of life’s other treasures too numerous to list. She was born on the far southwest side of Chicago in a great neighborhood when it was a great time to be young.
