The Lambda Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated cordially is inviting locals to its Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Maywood Park District, 921 S. 9th Ave., Maywood, IL 60153. The Holiday Bazaar will feature goods and services from small business owners around the Chicago-land area. The event will also feature live music and a special visit from Santa. Come out and enjoy a leisurely shopping experience with goods and services in the areas of:

- Baked goods
- Hand-made dolls
- Personalized gifts
- And more!
“We’re extremely pleased to provide a forum to shop local minority-owned businesses, all under one roof,” sorority leaders wrote in a news release. “We hope that you will join us, spread the word and bring friends and family.”
