If you picked up the New York Times this past Sunday, you may have chuckled while reading the comical conversation about the friendship between unlikely pair Anderson Cooper and Oak Park native and St. Bernardine school alumna Kathy Griffin.

Cooper and Griffin will be hosting CNN’s “New Year’s Eve Live” together for the eighth year in a row.
