Herman E. Brandt, 91, of Brookfield, has died. A veteran of the Army Air Force during World War II, he was the husband of Violet Brandt (nee Musser); the father of Karen (Aleksandar) Durdevic, Kenneth (Cindy) Brandt and Janice (Alan) Lechowicz; the grandfather of Tania (Jason) Wendt, Lana (Sam) Nicholls, Phillip Lechowicz, Lindsay Brandt, Kathleen Lechowicz, Kristen Brandt, Kimberly Lechowicz, Erich Brandt and Matthew Brandt; the great-grandfather of Lili Wendt, Aleks Wendt and Stirling Nicholls; and the brother of Elaine (the late Otto) Drittler.
Visitation was held on March 22 at Hitzeman Funeral Home, 9445 W. 31st St., Brookfield. The funeral service took place at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 9035 Grant Ave., in Brookfield, followed by interment at Chapel Hill Garden West.
