Amanda Kraass (nee Moltzan), 84, a 54-year resident of Forest Park, died on March 31, 2015 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was a longtime faithful member and volunteer at St. John Lutheran Church in Forest Park.
She was the wife of the late Wilhelm Kraass; the mother of Ingrid (Chris) Colonna, and Doris (Bob) Lewan; Oma (grandmother) of Kyle and Allison Colonna, Matthew, Mark, and Rachel Lewan; sister of the late Wilhelm (the late Stella), the late Renate (the late Manfred) Feld, Elisabeth (the late Albert) Ferfers, Heinrich (Anita), and Martha (Rudi) Wiese; and the aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10 from 10-11:30 a.m. at Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home 7319 W. Madison St., Forest Park, with a service at 11:30 a.m., followed by interment at Concordia Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association or St. John Lutheran Church, 3305 Circle Ave., Forest Park.
