Congratulations to Garfield 2nd grader, Storey N. for being selected as the SCOTY (School Citizen of the Year) Award recipient for the 2014-2015 school year. This award is given by West 40 Intermediate Educational Service Center. It recognizes one student from each school in our area that has been chosen by the teachers and staff in their schools as good citizens and models for others. Storey received her medal and award certificate in a ceremony held last week. Garfield teachers and staff are very proud of Storey and her accomplishment!
