The members of the National Junior Honor Society chapter here at Forest Park Middle School is spending some time this week collecting money for Misericordia Chicago. They are trading Jelly Belly jelly beans for donations during the lunch periods this week to collect for this worth cause. Misericordia offers support services for the community’s most vulnerable of citizens. It offers a “community of care” for persons with mild to profound disabilities. It is a wonderfully worthy cause and the NJHS members should be commeded.
