The Forest Park 8th Grade Volleyball Team won the Mount Carmel 2nd annual Jr. High Tournament on Saturday , April 18, 2015. Their only loss was in pool play to John the Baptist School from Whiting, Indiana. The boys still where first in pool play. In the single elimination tournament that afternoon, the team defeated Christ the King in the semi finals and in the finals defeated St. John the Baptist School. Middle Perry Cowan and Middle Nicholas Hart where named to the All Tournament Team at Mount Carmel. Coach Norge-Drent was impressed on the way her team played. “They played extremely well in the Tournament.” she said, “I have a very competitive and hard working group of boys.”
This year’s team members are: Perry Cowan, Nicholas Hart, Benard Bell, Chris Mistrata, Rishon Dass, Brandon Pickett, Kyle Fuller, Chris Rivera and Xavier Skinner.
