On March 22, I sent a request to Senator Durbin, asking what his position was on the TPP (the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a proposed trade agreement whose details have been kept secret from the public). Sen. Durbin’s office answered two days later.
Also on March 22, after providing the extensive information that Senator Mark Kirk’s website demands, I sent the same request to Sen. Kirk. As of now, more than a month later, I have not received a reply.
What’s with Sen. Kirk? Why doesn’t he answer requests? After all, our tax money pays for his staff.
I can only conclude that Kirk does not care about us in Forest Park.
By the way, I sent Sen. Kirk an earlier request near the end of last year. I did not receive a reply to that request either.
