Throughout the month of April, students and staff at Garfield School focused on the PBIS book of the month Zoe the Misfit.  Zoe is a green triangle stuck in a world of red circles.  Zoe has a hard time fitting in with the others because she is different.  This book focuses on teaching students to be themselves, because nobody does it better.  They learned about the importance of being themselves even if they are different than others because everyone has something unique about them.  As with other our other PBIS books of the month, students had the chance to write what they liked most about the book and draw a picture.  Check some of the responses.
