The Girl Scouts of Oak Park/River Forest/Forest Park would like to thank Classic Properties Realty Office at 1009 Madison St. in Oak Park, for hosting the local cookie cupboard for six weeks during our annual cookie sale.
Frank Di Febo and the other agents in the office graciously and gracefully shared their space so that the troops and girls in the area could continue to get more cookies to sell at our area booth sales. We are very thankful for the generosity of Classic Properties Realty for sharing their space.
We would also like to thank the other businesses in the area that allowed troops to set-up booth sales at their locations to sell cookies to customers:
Forest Park locations included: Counter Coffee, Ed’s Way, Forest Park National Bank, Schauer’s Hardware, Walgreens and Walmart. Oak Park locations included: the 1010 Lake Street Building, Community Bank of OP-RF, Jewel Foods, Magic Tree Bookstore, Oak Park Public Library, Walgreens, and Wonderworks. Finally, River Forest locations were: Jewel and Walgreens
Selling cookies to customers at booth sales helps the girls develop life skills — business ethics, decision making, goal setting, money management and people skills. Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, character and confidence who make the world a better place.
Thank you to our customers and area businesses for supporting Girl Scouts through the cookie program.
