The Annual Hemingway Block Party kicks off at 12pm on Thursday, July 16 and runs through 4pm on Sunday, July 19.
Events include sidewalk sales, musical entertainment, an 8K race and a kids event in Scoville Park, 800 W. Lake St., Oak Park, IL 60301.
The Hemingway 8K Running of the Bulls Race will take place on Saturday, July 18 starting at 8am adjacent to Scoville Park. This is a family friendly event that will feature chip timing, pacer bulls, top male and female finisher, age group and spirit awards.
The kids event will start at 9:30am. Children 3+ will have the opportunity to decorate cardboard bulls that they will use to participate in the fun run in the park.
