Over 130 golfers joined the Oak Park-River Forest and Forest Park Chambers of Commerce at their first combined golf outing on Thursday, July 9 at Gleneagles Country Club in Lemont. The country club has hosted a PGA Tournament and is known as the “Home of the Shotgun Start.”
The schedule included breakfast that was provided by Starship Restaurant and Catering, lunch, happy hour, dinner and raffle prizes. Prizes included Forest Park’s Wine Walk tickets, White Sox tickets, a Coach purse and recognition of the longest drive by a female golfer just to name a few. The event provided attendees with the perfect opportunity to play, mingle and network with other business leaders while enjoying the scenery of the two 18-hole championship golf courses.
