Sharon Lennox

Sharon Moravec Lennox (nee Bishton), 65, who bravely battled small cell cancer for nearly a year, died at her Oak Park home surrounded by her family on Aug. 23, 2015. Lennox; her son, Richard Moravec (Kimberly); her stepdaughter, Christine Mendez (Alberto); her stepson, Michael Jr. (Melissa); her grandchildren, Nick, Laura, Shannon, Lucy, Bella, Lizzie and Liam; and her aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and the many people she mentored. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosina Bishton (Bertolone) and Richard Bishton, and her sister, Jessie Mae Bishton.

Visitation will be on Sunday, Aug. 30, from 3 till 8 p.m. at Oak Park’s Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 31 at St. Giles Church. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
