Thanks to all of the families and staff who attended the Betsy Ross Open House on Thursday, September 9. Students had a wonderful time showing off their school and new classrooms, as well as some fantastic work they have completed in their first few weeks at school.
This year, there was a fun surprise. A representative from Ultra Foods, our neighbor on Roosevelt Road, came to give away shirts and hats, and a much bigger gift- a check for $500! The money will be used to support classroom-based family events, such as the first grade Thanksgiving feast.
