On Friday night, Sept. 11, the South Forest Park PTO sponsored a game night for families of Field Stevenson and Betsy Ross. We are grateful to all the volunteers who made this event possible, especially the Forest Park Community Center Councilors who staffed every classroom and managed the board games in each room and to McGaffer’s for sponsoring the pizza slices. We estimate about 60 families came for a night of board games and community building. It is incredible to be a part of a community of people who care and value relationship building and will come out even in stormy weather to be together. We are also grateful to principals Dr. Brunson and Mr. Milnamow who participated and supported this very special night.
