Arthur C. Carbone, 87, of Forest Park and Chicago, died on Oct. 17, 2015. Born on April 24, 1928, he was a longtime resident of Chicago’s Taylor Street area and a parishioner at the Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii. A U.S. Army veteran, he served in Korea. 

Arthur Carbone is survived by his brothers, Frank (Jane), John (Mary), Nicholas and Leonard; his nieces and nephews, Mary Rose Cozzi, John, Frank, Nancy, Janet, and Sandra; and his many cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Mary Carbone; his brother, George (Rose); and his niece, Mary Irene. 

Visitation was held on Oct. 21 at Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home in Forest Park, followed by a funeral Mass at St. Bernardine Church, with interment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
