Quarter 2 – Sue Giblin
Position: 4th and 5th Grade Instructional Assistant
Years of Service: Mrs. Giblin has worked in Forest Park School District 91 for 31 years! She has worked with the students and staff at Grant-White for 27 years.
Education: Mrs. Giblin is a native to the area. She went to Home School in Oak Park for elementary school and Oak Park River Forest for high school. She attended Triton College and Concordia University, where she received a degree in Early Childhood Education.
Special Interests: Mrs. Giblin enjoys shopping, reading, arts and crafts and dancing.
Reason for Being Spotlighted: Mrs. Giblin is hardworking and passionate about working with students at Grant-White. Not only does she work with groups of students to ensure that they are meeting their academic goals, she works to ensure that students’ social and emotional skills are improving, as well. Additionally, she collaborates with staff members to plan events for students that they will remember for a lifetime. Mrs. Giblin is a true asset to our school community and is much appreciated by all who know her.
