When it snows, don’t forget to shovel

To the great home owners of Forest Park, a request: 

When it snows, if at all possible, please make a single plowed path for pedestrians on the sidewalk. Often our great village service team cannot get to the sidewalks for at least a day, which can result in ice forming on the sidewalk (as we well know, snow is usually followed by nasty cold). 

Kids walking to school, getting to the Blue Line, making a run to Ed’s, or just taking the dogs for their daily, makes it a challenge on many sidewalks that have the ice build-up, and falling is always a real possibility. Just a single path will make the key difference and make it safer for your fellow neighbors!
